The White Horse is located in the picturesque village of Pleshey just about 5 miles from Chelmsford and has recently been taken over by a team of young catering professionals with a reputation for providing outstanding homemade dishes.

The pub will continue to be an integral part of village life and Liz the new licensee along with her team will ensure your visit is a pleasant experience and one you'll want to repeat.

The bars have been sympathetically restored to their former glory and offer a cosy nook to enjoy an ale or two. 

Food is available at all times during normal opening hours except Mondays. On Sundays we offer a traditional roast - 2 courses for £8.99 served from 12 midday to 4pm.

The White Horse offers the ideal venue for anniversary celebrations, club dinners and business gatherings.
The open studded partitions between the rooms means that any size of party, from a small group or one of up to a hundred or so, feel the same sense of cosy intimacy engendered by the open fires and timber beams.

During the warmer months you can take advantage of the attractive beer garden, where occasionally BBQ's are held (weather permitting).

The pub is happy to host 'Coach Parties' but request that companies book well in advance of their visit.
